Surgical instrument rust remover

Seydox Rust Remover is a specialized formula designed to safely remove rust, corrosion, and stubborn stains from stainless steel surgical instruments, trays, and medical equipment.

USE

For Surgical Instruments:
Add 100 mL of Seydox 4K-90 to 1 liter of hot water (50°–80°C). Dip thoroughly cleaned and opened instruments into the solution in a non-porous container for 15 minutes. For heavy stains, extend the exposure time to 60 minutes. Rinse thoroughly under running water.

For Stainless Steel Carts and Trays:
Add 100 mL to 1 liter of hot water (50°–80°C). Using protective gloves, apply the solution and scrub the cart or tray thoroughly with a hard-bristle brush. Rinse completely with clean water.

For Ultrasonic and Automatic Cleaning Devices:
Add 500 mL to 5 liters of hot water (50°–80°C) directly into the detergent reservoir. Alternatively, calibrate the washer’s dilution rate to 10%. After the washing cycle, remove the tray of instruments and rinse thoroughly under running water. (This step can be omitted if the instruments are immediately cleaned in a washer/disinfector.)

SCOPE AND APPLICATION

Seydox 4K-90 is a safe and efficient solution for stainless steel surgical instruments. It effectively removes rust, stains, spotting, hard water scale, and mineral deposits commonly resulting from repeated sterilization.
A routine preventative program—weekly or bi-monthly—is recommended. Regular use will enhance the longevity and performance of stainless steel instruments.
